Works Department being the Engineering backbone of the Hospital started operation with all her Units right from inception of the Hospital in 1980.

Generally, the Department is endowed with Professionals of all Cadre; ranges from Chartered Engineers through Engineering Technologist, Technicians to Craftsmen.

Our Service

The Department is well poised primarily to provide basic maintenance, repairs and Installation of the Hospital Equipment, which include Generating Plants, medical equipment and other Infrastructural facilities. Similarly, we also play Supervisory role in Capital Project Design and Implementation.

The Department also trains the Engineering and Science students on Industrial attachment.

Our services as detailed above extend to all the Hospital wings in C.H.C. Esie, C.H.C. Ihima, Kogi State and UITH Muslim Ummah Health Centre Kishi, Oyo State.
