The unit oversees all computerisation processes of the hospital. It comprises of ICT professionals, certified in various fields  such as Cisco, Redhat, Microsoft, Ethical hacking & countermeasures, Exchange server, Software development etc. The unit aim to provide  quality ICT services that will enhance health care delivery process in the hospital. There are four sub-units headed by highly qualified professionals shown below:

• Departmental Automation – Software development for various departments such as:-

Accounts Department - (Payroll Management Software)

Personnel Department - (Human Resource Manager)

Surgery Department    - (Surgery Database Manager)

Stores Department       - (Store Manager)

CMD’S Office             - (Approval Database Software)

• Hardware Maintenance ( Preventive & Corrective / Curative ) – Maintenance of all Computer Related Hardware system – Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Servers, Network Devices etc

• Network Management – LAN / WAN Management, Network Security Password Management, Authentication, Intrusion detection and prevention.

• Training Services – The unit oversees the hospitals’ ultramodern 20 seat computer training school. We offer training in the following areas: - Data processing, Desktop Management, Spreadsheet Analysis, Word processing, Database Management and Software Development.

 ICT PROJECTS UNDER THE UNIT SUPERVISION

• Electronic registration (E-Registration) of patients..
• The Unit also developed a Discharge summary Database Manager. This software takes care of all discharge records of patients which can aid research in future.
• MTN WIFI cloud Project for internet service
•  TELEMEDICINE project.
• The proposed Fibre Optic solution as a Network Backbone for an effective hospital management system.
• HOSPICARE Software – A Hospital Management Software that takes care of all patient activities from Registration point till discharge.
